I had a lot of fun photographing Josh at Dawes Arboretum. This super nice and polite young man is our neighbor and I was thrilled when he asked me to take his senior pictures. Josh plays at the Orchestra at Upper Arlington High School. He is very industrious and I’m positive he will be a very successful businessman! I wish Josh an awesome senior year!!!

I had a great time photographing Anna-Britt and Irwan’s wedding. This adorable couple came all the way from California to tie the knot in Columbus and I was lucky to be able to document the celebration. It was a day full of joy and love. My dear friend and talented photographer Karen Evans captured the day with me and you can see many of her awesome pictures in this post. The ceremony was held at The Northwest United Methodist Church and reception at the Immaculate Conception Marian Center. Thank you Anna-Britt and Irwan for making me part of your wedding. It was such a pleasure to witness your happiness!

I had so much fun at Jackie and Jon’s wedding in Canmore. If you have never visited the Canadian Rockies, honestly you are missing out. It is one of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever been. It was the perfect background for this perfect wedding with beautiful loving people. Jackie and Jon are just this happy, amazing couple that you can’t help but love. Surrounded by such beautiful nature and amazing friends and family they had one of the most fun weddings ever. I was so happy to see so many faces that are so dear to me, including the talented Julie Driemel who helped me shoot this wedding ! What a great celebration and I miss these folks already!!!! Congratulations Jackie and Jon!!!!!

I can’t wait to shoot Amanda and Colin’s wedding next week! I had the opportunity of spending a little more time with them in Cincinnati and it was a pleasure photographing their engagement session. We had a great sunny day with bright skies and some fall colors. Amanda and Colin are super cute together and are so excited for their wedding. I enjoy shooting in Cincinnati, specially at night. The city lights and all the colorful water features at Smale Riverfront Park are so cool. Thank you Colin and Amanda. Keep tuned to see their wedding celebration super soon!
The picture below was inspired by a scene from the movie Harold and Maude

loved this pet session so much! My friend Darla always loved the movie Harold and Maude and wanted to have a picture with her and her dog inspired on a scene from it. I have watched the movie as a kid and really enjoyed it as well, so the project was really fun. After we shot the requested picture I captured some images of her pets hanging out, being curious and most of all being just adorable. I really enjoy shooting pets and their guardians. I adore seeing how they interact and how humans and pets have such a deep loving relationships. All of Darla’s pet companions are rescued and they are so very loved! The pug Camus has been in the family for a while and Ren the intense looking chihuahua mix just arrived. I was grateful that Cougar (the gray cat) and Johnny Cash (the black cat) posed so beautifully behind the screen door and allowed me to snap one of my favorite shots ever!
