Trish & Ryan – Part 2

PHOTOGRAPHERS (day after session): Eunice & Christina

Photographing Trish & Ryan’s wedding was truly a team effort. Laura and Julie spent last weekend photographing their fabulous wedding in a pure photojournalism style – no posing, no directions, just documenting moments as they happened. The next day Trish & Ryan donned their wedding attire once more and we had a truly phenominal day-after session in the best light imaginable. To make things even more spectacular, Trish actually ran in the ocean and splashed around for pictures, just as the light reached its most perfect sunset colours. Wow!!! We have never been so impressed with anyone ever! If you live on the west coast you know how cold the ocean is! Trish, you are truly someone to admire!! These two posed like rock stars and it was amazing to be a part of their day. Thanks again Trish & Ryan for including our team for your wedding and congratulations once again!! This is an early sneak peek and we’re spreading the pics over two blog posts – one for the wedding and the other for the day after session.

P.S. If you love the way these photos look, consider having your own wedding photos done during peak “warm” light – this may mean skipping the usual afternoon portraits and then sneaking out of your reception for an hour to do some fun relaxed pictures in nice light. Another thought? Why not book a day after session for yourself! 🙂

Grace & Jeremy – Sneak Peek

PHOTOGRAPHER: Eunice

Grace and Jeremy had an absolutely beautiful wedding at Point Ellice House thanks to flowers and decorations by Grace’s mother. Grace arrived in style by water taxi looking amazing. We had lots of time for romantic portraits and we took them all over Victoria, including the Beacon Drive-in where they originally met while ordering ice cream! And I have to mention that these two get the prize for having the coolest car ever! Grace is an artist who loves bright colors and Jeremy, a photographer like us, digs black and white photography straight from the darkroom. Talk about made for each other! Thank you Jeremy and Grace for including us in your big day!

Andrea & Prashant: Sneak Peek

PHOTOGRAPHERS: Eunice, Christina, Julie W., Ryan

WEDDING LOCATION(S): Saanich Fairgrounds, Hotel Grand Pacific

WEDDING PLANNERS: Sweet Beginnings, Victoria

This is a very early sneak peek of one of the most amazing weddings we’ve ever attended (and we’ve photographed a lot of weddings!). We just photographed Andrea & Prashant’s two-day Hindu-Western wedding last week but we know Andrea & Prashant want to have a quick sneak peek of their images so we’re showing just a few for now. We’ll be adding a lot more in a few days once we’ve had a chance to go through all of our images. Congratulations Andrea & Prashant and we’re so thrilled you chose us to photograph your wedding!

When I met with Lisa & Ko I knew they were going to have a super fun wedding. It was a beautiful day and the ceremony was very emotional. I even caught myself choking up at some points. After the ceremony, we ventured off to Ko’s parents’ house for a traditional tea ceremony. These two are very smart cookies and allowed a lot of time between the ceremony and reception for photos so we were able to get a tonne of variety and we were able to experiment a bit. Ko’s favorite hockey team on the planet is the Philadelphia Flyers and it was fun to incorporate some romance and hockey in the photos. These two were so easy-going and wonderful to work with – and they look pretty phenominal in pictures too, don’t you agree? Thanks again Lisa & Ko for including us in your wedding and congratulations once again!
